    The NASCAR Powerball — The Chase to $1 Million promotion is a national second-chance drawing promotion tied exclusively to the Mississippi Lottery’s $2 Power Play® Blitz scratch-off ticket. Eligible players can enter non-winning tickets into the Mississippi Lottery 2nd Chance portal for a chance to win cash prizes and entry into the national promotion for a shot at a $1 million cash prize awarded during NASCAR Championship Weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
  • Which ticket is eligible for the promotion?
    Only non-winning $2 Power Play® Blitz scratch-off tickets are eligible for entry into the NASCAR Powerball® — The Chase to $1 Million promotion.
  • How do I enter the promotion?
    Players can enter eligible non-winning Power Play® Blitz tickets through the Mississippi Lottery 2nd Chance portal.
  • Do I need to create an account to enter?
    Yes. Players must have an active Mississippi Lottery 2nd Chance account to participate in the promotion and submit eligible tickets.
  • Is there a limit to how many tickets I can enter?
    Eligible tickets may only be entered once. Players may enter as many eligible non-winning Power Play® Blitz tickets as they wish during the promotion period.
  • What prizes are available in the promotion?

    - NASCAR race VIP experiences

  • When does the promotion begin and end?

  • How are winners selected?
    Winners are selected through random drawings conducted from eligible entries received during the promotional period.
  • When are winners announced?
    Players may enter eligible tickets from 12 a.m. June 2 to 11:59 p.m. July 9. Drawing will take place Monday July 13, with winners announced LIVE during the Mississippi Lottery Facebook Live broadcast Tuesday July 14 at 10 a.m. CST.
  • How will winners be notified?
    Winners will receive certified letters.
  • Is the promotion available in all states?
    The NASCAR Powerball® — The Chase to $1 Million promotion is a national promotion; however, entry methods, deadlines, and prize structures may vary by participating lottery.
  • How old do I have to be to participate?
    Players must be at least 21 years of age to purchase Mississippi Lottery products or participate in promotions.

  • Can Mississippi Lottery winners remain anonymous?
    Under Mississippi law, Mississippi Lottery winners may choose to remain anonymous when claiming prizes, however, the Grand Prize winner of this promotion will be publicized if they move forward in the national promotion.

    Yes. Lottery prizes are subject to applicable federal and state tax laws.
