  1. WHO CAN ENTER: The Mississippi Lottery NASCAR Powerball® - The Chase to $1 Million Promotion (the “Bonus Promotion”) is open to anyone 21 years of age or older. The following are not eligible to win any Mississippi Lottery promotional prizes: Mississippi Lottery board members, officers and employees; Mississippi Lottery retailers, vendors and their respective owners; and the spouses, children, siblings and parents of any of the foregoing that reside in the household thereof.One (1) entry selected as Grand Prize winner in this Bonus Promotion will be forwarded to the Multi-State Lottery Association (“MUSL”) and will be included in a series of drawings from entries gathered from all lotteries participating in the national NASCAR Powerball® - The Chase (2026) Promotion (the “National Promotion”).
  2. TERM OF BONUS PROMOTION: The Bonus Promotion involves only the Bonus Promotion drawing conducted July 13, 2026 (“Term”).
  3. FIELD OF ENTRIES AND DRAWING DATES: The field of entries is limited to non-winning $2 Power Play® Blitz instant lottery tickets entered into the Mississippi Lottery’s 2nd Chance Promotion during the entry time period outlined below.

  4. DRAWING METHOD: Bonus Promotion winners will be chosen by random drawing.
  5. ODDS OF WINNING: The odds of winning a prize via the Bonus Promotion are based on the total number of entries for the drawing.
  6. PRIZE ALLOCATION: There will be five (5) total winners for the Bonus Promotion: One (1) Grand Prize winner and four (4) secondary winners. The prizes awarded in the Bonus Promotion drawing shall be allocated in the order of the entries selected. Each selected entrant in the Bonus Promotion will receive a cash prize, as set forth hereinabove. The Grand Prize winner will additionally receive entry into the National Promotion, which includes the chance to win $1,000,000 and a trip to the NASCAR Championship Weekend™ at Homestead-Miami Speedway®The Grand Prize winner’s name and contact information will be sent to MUSL as a semi-finalist entered into the National Promotion. On September 27, 2026, MUSL will select twenty (20) semi-finalists to advance in the National Promotion.National Promotion semi-finalists will continue to be eliminated in a series of MUSL drawings that coincide with final races of the NASCAR® season to determine four (4) finalists who will win a VIP trip to the NASCAR Cup Series Championship Weekend™ at Homestead-Miami Speedway®. One (1) of the four (4) finalists will win $1 million in a drawing broadcast live from the NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race™ on November 8, 2026. The National Promotion Trip Prize description and terms are attached to and are incorporated by reference to these Bonus Promotion rules.
  7. NO PRIZE EXCHANGE: All Bonus Promotion prizes will be awarded as described. No substitutions.
  8. CONTACTING WINNERS: Each winning Bonus Promotion entrant will be notified by certified mail (“Notification”).
  9. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RECEIPT: Bonus Promotion winners must contact the Mississippi Lottery and acknowledge receipt of the notification within 10 business days of the winner’s receipt thereof (“Acknowledgement”). Methods of contact will be provided in the Notification. If the Mississippi Lottery does not receive an Acknowledgement from the winner within 10 business days following the winner’s receipt of the Notification, the prize is forfeited. An alternate winner of the prize may be selected or the prize may be held for a later, different promotion, at the Mississippi Lottery’s discretion.
  10. PRIZE CLAIM PERIOD: A Bonus Promotion winner may claim their prize by submitting a Promotions Winner Claim Form (“Claim Form”) to the Mississippi Lottery along with their timely Acknowledgement. Alternatively, but only if a winner has timely provided an Acknowledgement to the Mississippi Lottery as set forth in Section 9 above, a winner may claim their prize by submitting a Claim Form to the Mississippi Lottery no later than 30 calendar days following the Mississippi Lottery’s receipt of the winner’s Acknowledgement. If the Mississippi Lottery does not receive a Claim Form from the winner within 30 calendar days following the Mississippi Lottery’s receipt of the winner’s Acknowledgement, the prize is forfeited. An alternate winner of the prize may be selected or the prize may be held for a later, different promotion, at the Mississippi Lottery’s discretion.
  11. WINNER REQUIREMENTS: Each Bonus Promotion winner will be required to submit proper identification and complete a winner Claim Form – the same process used for prize claims for Mississippi Lottery games. Claims made whether in person or by mail must be received by the Mississippi Lottery within the prize claim period specified in Section 10 above. The name on the entry, Claim Form and identification must match.MUSL plans to publicize National Promotion semi-finalists’ names in the National Promotion. The Grand Prize Bonus Promotion winner selected by the Mississippi Lottery to participate in the National Promotion will be required to sign a release form authorizing MUSL and the Mississippi Lottery to publicize the participant’s name, image and home town if chosen as a National Promotion semi-finalist. Failure to sign the release form authorizing such publicity will result in forfeiture of all aspects of the Grand Prize Bonus Promotion winner’s prize, including participation in the National Promotion, and the Mississippi Lottery, at its discretion, may randomly choose another qualified entrant to receive the prize from the same pool of entries.
  12. MAILING: The Mississippi Lottery is not responsible for lost or stolen mail, and claims received after the deadline will be rejected.
  13. WINNERS LIST: The Mississippi Lottery will maintain a list of Bonus Promotion winners and may publicize the winners’ city or county of residence on the Mississippi Lottery website, social media or by other means. The city or county of residence for each winner may be announced in press releases and/or social media. Except for the Bonus Promotion Grand Prize winner, Bonus Promotion winners have the option to remain anonymous or allow the publication of their name and/or photograph by checking the appropriate box on the Claim Form. Announcement of winners’ cities or counties of residence will be made public the Tuesday following the draw date on Facebook Live
  14. CONTEST ENTRIES AND PRIZE LIMITATIONS: Entries are limited solely to non-winning $2 Power Play® Blitz instant scratch-off tickets entered into the Mississippi Lottery’s 2nd Chance Promotion on the Mississippi Lottery’s website or the official Mississippi Lottery app under the Bonus Promos link. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder/entrant to ensure all contact information entered is accurate.
  15. TAXES: All federal, state, and local taxes on the total prize value, if applicable, are the responsibility of the winner. The Mississippi Lottery will withhold and deposit the initial state and federal taxes on behalf of the winner, as required by law. An IRS Form W-2G/1099 will be issued to the winner if required by law.
  16. RELEASE OF LIABILITY: All entrants in the Bonus Promotion agree the Mississippi Lottery shall have no liability for any personal injuries, death, property damage, or other damage or expenses resulting from or arising out of any aspect of use or acceptance of a Bonus Promotion or National Promotion prize.
  17. MODIFICATION: The Mississippi Lottery reserves the right to alter, suspend, terminate, end or extend the Bonus Promotion in any manner at any time prior to or during the Term, at the sole and absolute discretion of the Mississippi Lottery President.
  18. DISPUTE RESOLUTION: The exclusive venue for any dispute arising under and/or as a result of the Bonus Promotion shall be the appropriate court in Rankin County, Mississippi.
