JACKSON, MISS. – With no jackpot winner in the Wednesday, July 29 drawing, dreams of a life-changing Powerball win continue to grow as the jackpot climbs to an estimated $707 million with an estimated cash value of $309.7 million for the Saturday, Aug. 1 drawing.

While the jackpot continues to build, Mississippi players are already seeing their Powerball dreams become reality with life-altering wins. The current jackpot is the largest of the year and marks the game’s 39th consecutive drawing since the jackpot was last won.

JACKSON, MISS. – A $2 Powerball ticket purchased at Sprint Mart #38 in Tupelo is worth $1 million after matching all five white ball numbers in Saturday night’s drawing.

Mississippi was one of six states to produce a $1 million-winning ticket in the drawing, joining Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas and Washington. The winning ticket did not include the optional Power Play® feature. Had Power Play been added for an additional $1 per play, the prize would have doubled to $2 million.

The Mississippi Lottery Corporation has announced the latest winners in the Wheel of Fortune Bonus Promotion, with players across Mississippi — and even one in Alabama — taking home cash prizes in the fifth drawing of the promotion. The winning prizes included $15,000 to a player from Hazlehurst, $10,000 to a player from Macon, $7,500 to a player from West Point, $5,000 to a player from Brandon and $2,500 each to players from Pontotoc, Brookhaven and Fosters, Ala. 

Players still have one more chance to win, with the final Wheel of Fortune Bonus Promotion drawing set for July 31. JACKSON, MISS. – The Mississippi Lottery Corporation announced it has transferred $8,658,897.54 in net proceeds for the month of June, bringing the Lottery’s total transfers for Fiscal Year 2026 to $126,598,430.57, an impressive 12% increase over Fiscal Year 2025.

The significant year-over-year increase was fueled in part by increased player interest in multi-state draw games as FY26 began with historic jackpot runs, including two $1 billion-plus Powerball jackpots and a Mega Millions jackpot of $983 million.

In accordance with state law, the first $80 million in annual Lottery proceeds is transferred to the Mississippi Department of Transportation for road and bridge improvements. The remaining $46,598,430.57 will be deposited into the Education Enhancement Fund, helping support public education throughout the state.

Since ticket sales began in November 2019, the Mississippi Lottery has transferred more than $818 million to the State of Mississippi.

The announcement comes during National Lottery Week, which highlights the role lotteries play in supporting public programs and services across the country. In Mississippi, every Lottery ticket purchased helps fund safer roads and bridges while providing additional resources for public education.

National Draw Game Jackpots Top $1 Billion

Mississippi Lottery players have a chance to take home a share of more than $1 billion in combined jackpots as the nation’s biggest draw games continue to heat up this summer. 

The Powerball jackpot is an estimated $498 million for tonight’s drawing, with an estimated cash value of $221 million, while Mega Millions has climbed to an estimated $672 million for the Friday, July 17 drawing, with an estimated cash value of $293.3 million. Adding to the excitement, Lotto America has reached an estimated $33.77 million jackpot for Wednesday night’s drawing, the game’s third-largest jackpot ever, with an estimated cash value of $14.98 million. JACKSON, MISS. – Another Mississippi Lottery player is celebrating a life-changing win after claiming a $1 million top prize on the $30 Millionaire Maker scratch-off game.

The winning ticket was purchased by an Alabaster, Alabama man at Keith’s Superstore #89 in Ocean Springs. The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, said purchasing a Millionaire Maker ticket along with Powerball and Mega Millions tickets has become part of a routine stop through Mississippi.

The player said the prize will be shared with family members, honoring an agreement they made long before the winning ticket was ever purchased.

The $30 Millionaire Maker scratch-off game debuted in January 2026 and has already created one millionaire in the state. Following this latest claim, eight $1 million top prizes remain.

JACKSON, MISS. – Lightning struck twice for Mississippi Lottery players this week as two separate $100,000 prizes were won in just five days—one through Powerball and another on a scratch-off ticket.

The first six-figure win came from the Saturday, June 20^th Powerball drawing. A ticket purchased at Fast Stop 7 in Laurel matched four out of five white balls plus the Powerball to win $50,000. Thanks to the $1 Power Play add-on, that prize doubled to $100,000. The ticket remains unclaimed, meaning someone in the Laurel area could be carrying around a six-figure surprise.

Then, on Wednesday, June 24, another Mississippi Lottery player stepped forward to claim a $100,000 top prize on the $5 Money Bags scratch-off game. The winning ticket was purchased at Keith’s Superstore #196 in Poplarville.

The winner described themselves as an occasional lottery player and said the purchase was completely unplanned. With an extra $20 to spare after filling up, the player asked for four $5 scratch-off tickets. The retailer selected four Money Bags tickets, and a couple scratches later, the routine gas stop turned into a $100,000 payday.

Lotto America Jackpot Reaches 136 Consecutive Drawings Without a Jackpot Winner

The Lotto America jackpot continues its impressive run. No ticket matched all six winning numbers in Wednesday’s Lotto America drawing, pushing the jackpot to an estimated $30.8 million for the Saturday, June 27^th drawing. The estimated cash value is $13.94 million.
