An Amite County man won $10,002 on a Mega Millions ticket purchased at Auburn One Stop on Hwy. 98 W., Summit. The winner always purchases the multi-draw option when he plays. He said with the pandemic and other factors, he forgot to check his tickets. After seeing the MS Lottery social media posts about a Mega Millions winner from Auburn One Stop for the June 5 drawing, the owner reached out to the man and encouraged him to check his tickets. Sure enough……he was a winner and said he was very much appreciative for the owner bringing it to his attention.
