A Lee County woman won $100,000 on a Powerball ticket purchased from Sprint Mart #37 in Tupelo. This was her first time purchasing Powerball tickets, and she chose her own numbers and opted for the Power Play option. She matched 4 out or 5 white balls, plus the Powerball, and initially won $50,000. Because she purchased the Powerball (which was 2 for the drawing), her winnings doubled to $100,000.
