The winning ticket, purchased at Walmart Superstore in Pascagoula, matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball in the Double Play drawing to win $50,000.
Double Play gives Powerball players a second chance to win using the same numbers in a second drawing immediately following the regular Powerball draw. For just $1, players get another shot at a winning moment, and recent Mississippi winners are proving that opportunity can pay off in a big way.
Last week, a ticket purchased at Fast Lane State Street in Jackson matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball in the Double Play drawing, also winning $50,000.
