  1. WHO CAN ENTER: The Sizzlin’ Summer Cash Bonus Promotion is open to anyone 21 years of age or older. Lottery employees, retailers and vendors, and their immediate family members residing in their household, are not eligible to win any Mississippi Lottery promotional prizes.
  2. The field of entries is limited to non-winning Heat Stroke, Blazing Hot Bucks, and Red Hot Cash instant lottery tickets entered into the Mississippi Lottery’s Sizzlin’ Summer Cash Bonus Promotion as outlined below.

  3. ENTRIES: Entries for each Sizzlin’ Summer Cash Bonus Promotional drawing are comprised of non-winning Heat Stroke, Blazing Hot Bucks, and Red Hot Cash instant scratch-off lottery tickets entered in the Sizzlin’ Summer Cash Bonus Promotional drawing submitted by players during the entry period for each drawing. Winners in previous Sizzlin’ Summer Cash Bonus Promotional drawings are eligible to win in subsequent drawings in this bonus promotion. Each entry of non-winning tickets of the beforementioned instant scratch-off tickets is considered a new entry.  All qualified entries from 12:00 a.m. May 6, 2025, to 11:59 p.m., July 27, 2025, will comprise the field for the final bonus promotional drawing July 30, 2025. All Sizzlin’ Summer Cash Bonus Promotional drawing entries, including winners, are automatically entered into and eligible to win the 2nd Chance Promotional drawing for the respective instant game’s top prize at the game’s end.
  4. DRAWING METHOD: Sizzlin’ Summer Cash Bonus Promotion winners will be chosen by a random drawing.
  5. ODDS OF WINNING: The odds of winning a prize in the Sizzlin’ Summer Cash Bonus Promotion are based on the total number of entries in each drawing.
  6. PRIZE ALLOCATION: The prizes awarded in each Sizzlin’ Summer Cash Bonus Promotional drawing shall be allocated in the order of the entries selected.
  7. CONTACTING WINNERS: Each winning Sizzlin’ Summer Cash Bonus Promotion entrant will be notified by certified mail (“Notification”).
  8. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RECEIPT: Winners must contact the Mississippi Lottery and acknowledge receipt of the Notification within 10 business days of the winner’s receipt thereof (“Acknowledgement”). Methods of contact will be provided in the Notification. If the Mississippi Lottery does not receive an Acknowledgement from the winner within 10 business days following the winner’s receipt of the Notification, the prize is forfeited. An alternate winner of the prize may be selected, the prize may be held for a later drawing in the Sizzlin’ Summer Cash Bonus Promotion, or the prize may be held for later promotion, at the Mississippi Lottery’s discretion.
  9. PRIZE CLAIM PERIOD: A Sizzlin’ Summer Cash Bonus Promotion winner may claim their prize by submitting a Promotions Winner Claim Form (“Claim Form”) to the Mississippi Lottery along with their timely Acknowledgement. Alternatively, but only if a winner has timely provided an Acknowledgement to the Mississippi Lottery as set forth in Section 8 above, a winner may claim their prize by submitting a Claim Form to the Mississippi Lottery no later than 30 calendar days following the Mississippi Lottery’s receipt of the winner’s Acknowledgement. If the Mississippi Lottery does not receive a Claim Form from the winner within 30 calendar days following the Mississippi Lottery’s receipt of the winner’s Acknowledgement, the prize is forfeited. An alternate winner of the prize may be selected, the prize may be held for a later drawing in the Sizzlin’ Summer Cash Bonus Promotion, or the prize may be held for later promotion, at the Mississippi Lottery’s discretion.
  10. WINNER REQUIREMENTS: Each Sizzlin’ Summer Cash Bonus Promotion winner will be required to submit proper identification and complete a winner Claim Form – the same process used for prize claims for Mississippi Lottery games. Claims made by mail must be received by the Lottery within the specified prize claim period. The name and physical address on the entry, Claim Form and identification must match.   11. MAILING: The Mississippi Lottery is not responsible for lost or stolen mail, and claims received after the deadline will be rejected.
  12. WINNERS LIST: The Mississippi Lottery will maintain a list of Sizzlin’ Summer Cash Bonus Promotion winners and may publicize the winners’ hometowns or home counties on the Mississippi Lottery website, social media or by other means. Players have the option to remain anonymous or allow the publication of their name and/or photograph by checking the appropriate box on the Winner Claim Form.
  13. CONTEST ENTRIES AND PRIZE LIMITATIONS: Entries are limited solely to non-winning Heat Stroke, Blazing Hot Bucks, and Red Hot Cash instant scratch-off tickets entered into the Mississippi Lottery’s website under the Bonus Promos link. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder/entrant to ensure all contact information entered is accurate.
  14. TAXES: All federal, state, and local taxes on the total prize value, if applicable, are the responsibility of the winner. The Mississippi Lottery will withhold and deposit the initial state and federal taxes on behalf of the winner, as required by law. An IRS Form W-2G/1099 will be issued to the winner if required by law.
  15. RELEASE OF LIABILITY: All entrants in the Sizzlin’ Summer Cash Bonus Promotion agree the Mississippi Lottery shall have no liability for any personal injuries, death, property damage, or other damage or expenses resulting from or arising out of any aspect of use or acceptance of the prize.
  16. DISPUTE RESOLUTION: The exclusive venue for any dispute arising under and/or as a result of the Sizzlin’ Summer Cash Bonus Promotion shall be the appropriate court in Rankin County, Mississippi.
